Joy Mayer Sangree, 84, of Gulfport passed away at home on August 15, 2008.
She was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and had been a resident of the MS Coast most of her adult life. She enjoyed painting porcelain china and one of her greatest joys was sharing them with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Sangree, and a son, George Sangree.
Survivors include her three children: Wallace Sangree, of Gulfport, Pam (Lee) Bertrand, of Metairie, LA, and Candy (Terry) Hurst, of Gulfport; two grandchildren: Andrew Hurst and Melanie Holter; and four great-grandchildren: Drew and Allie Hurst, and Quinton and Emma Holter.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Three Rivers Chapel of the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport on Saturday, August 23, 2008.
The family extends special thanks to Odyssey Hospice for their care and support.
