Joy Louise Conn Lyons Boykin

Joy Louise Conn Lyons Boykin, age 81, of Gulfport, died Saturday, October 8, 2011 in Wiggins.
She was the president of the Ladies Auxillary VFW Post 8246 in Vidor, Texas, where she served as their district president. She was involved in the Gospel Singers of American in Pass Christian, and she was a member of the Extended Hands Assembly of God in Saucier.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Conn. Survivors include her 3 children, Rebecca (Derl) Hallmark, Wilbur Clyde (Margaret) Lyons, Jr., and Lynda (John) Fagan; 2 sisters, Merle Longnecker and Audrey Smith; 2 brothers, Charles Conn and William Conn; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m., Monday, October 10, 2011 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 11 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Conn Cemetery in Long Beach.
