Josie Pucheu McDonald, age 89, of Long Beach, died Sunday, December 16, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. McDonald was a native and lifelong resident of the coast and she was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach. She was one of the charter members of the St. Thomas Mother's Club now the Carnival Association of Long Beach, Inc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman McDonald, Sr. 2 sons, Eugene McDonald and Richard McDonald.
Survivors include 2 sons, Norman (Rene) McDonald, Jr., Long Beach and Kenneth Ray McDonald, Fairfield, CA; 5 grandchildren, Christina McDonald, Billy McDonald, Jonathan McDonald, Suzanne (Sean) Sullivan, and Norman (Courtney) McDonald, III, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Long Beach. Friends may visit from 10:00 - 11:0 am.
Interment will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
The family prefers memorials be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society, P.O. Box 1529, Long Beach, MS 39560.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
