~~ Joshua Wayne "Josh" Steele, age 38, of Biloxi, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
Josh was born in Ocean Springs, MS to Larry L. Steele and Diane Steele on May 17, 1979. He went to high school at Bass Memorial Academy and graduated in 1997. He studied business administration and construction management in college. He worked as a garden shop manager at Kmart for 5 years, but later found his true calling as a talented carpenter and home builder/remodeler which he did for 12 years. He enjoyed making furniture, listening to and appreciating great music and art, reading about and discussing/debating politics/history/religion, making people laugh with his sharp wit, raising a couple of fur babies with his wife, cooking, taking care of his grandmother, and spending quality time with his family, especially his nephew and nieces.
Josh was preceded in death by his father, Larry L. Steele; his grandmother, Louise M. Steele; grandfather, Edward E. Winborne; his great grandparents, Mattie and Thomas Lambert; and father-in-law Terry Phalp.
He is survived by his wife, Crystal H. Steele of Biloxi; his grandmother, Ellen Winborne of Vancleave; his mother, Diane Steele (Ernie) Falgo of Gautier; brothers, Jacob A. (Andi) Steele of Vancleave and Vincent Falgo of Biloxi; nieces, Brynn Steele, Makenzie Falgo, and Layla Moberg; his nephew, Jase Steele; mother-in-law, Susie Phalp (Dana) Renda; brother-in-law, Vincent Phalp.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave. West Jackson County, from 1-2 pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 2pm.
A reception will follow services in the funeral home's Reception Center.
