Joseph Taylor, Sr.

Joseph Edward “Jet” Taylor, Sr., age 40 of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph William Taylor; and his grandmother, Leona Grace Taylor.

Jet is survived by his wife of 8 years, Teresa Lee Ann Taylor; his mother, Julia Diane Rogers; his children, Austin Taylor, Shauna James, Drayven Birchwell, Abbigale Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Jr., and Pyper Taylor; his siblings, Shawn Taylor (Brittany) and their children, Kayla and Cameron, Brian Taylor (Ginger) and their children, Jessica and Justin, Lisa Noakes (Greg), Dawn Sherman (Timothy) and their children, Desiree, Destiny, and Dalton.

He was a truck driver for Transport America.  Known as a loving father, supportive husband, and caring friend, Jet was a kind soul with a big caring and giving heart.  He enjoyed grilling, cooking, shooting guns, and cars and trucks.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  The Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
