He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Christine Pol of Gulfport; children, Joe Pol (Lacey) of Saucier, Jeremey Pol (Holley) of Saucier, Sammy Smith (Cynthia) of New London, N.C., Jason Kessler (Michelle) of Concord, N.C., Jade Vogel (Peter) of Hershey, PA, Sharyl Walley (Chris) of Johnson City, TN, Christie Kessler of Gulfport, Sarah Peduzzi (Mark) of Saucier; 15 grandchildren, Cody, Noah, Addy, Emma, Evelyn, Kai, Lars, Anja, Taylor, Reagan, Drake, Reese, Jackson, Mark, and Emily.
