Joseph "J.C" Ladner, age 90, of Pass Christian, passed away on February 26, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Ladner; his parents, Roosevelt and Emma Ladner; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Ladner.
J.C. is survived by his children, Daryl Ladner (Sandy), Marvin Ladner, Brenda Necaise (Mickey), and Randy Ladner (Michelle); his brother Frank Ladner (Beverly); grandchildren, Melissa Bounds (Jason), Jennifer Wyman (Jaret), Christopher Necaise (Ronda), Matthew Ladner (Brenna), Blake Ladner (Devin), Joseph Ladner, and Zachary Ladner; great-grandchildren, Jenna Ladner (Adam), Jaret Wyman, Jr., Tryton Bounds, Travis Bounds, Krislyn Necaise, Bryce Necaise, Ryder Ladner, Reese Ladner, Stetson Ladner, and another on the way.
He was a native of Pass Christian where he still resided until his death. J.C. graduated from Dedeaux High School and then Draughon Business College. He worked for Taber Metal Extrusions for 42 years.
J.C. enjoyed being outdoors, farming, and raising livestock. He most enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux.
The family would like to extend sincere gratitude to Father Khoa Vo and Deacon Earl Saucier for their continued blessings and support and to Arden Hospice as well, for their services.
Memorial contributions may be made in J.C.'s honor to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux CCD Building Fund.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 9 am - 12 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd, Pass Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery @ Rotten Bayou.
