Joseph Heigle Jr.

Joseph Manuel Heigle, Jr., 84, beloved Father and Grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on November 12, 2020. He entered this world on March 29, 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana, born to Joseph and Lillian Theriot Heigle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elvira "Elba" Garcia Heigle; his daughters Phyllis H. Johnson (Albert) and Yadira Ross (Drue), and his son Yury Hernandez (Katie); his siblings Catherine Heigle, Lillian H. Riddlen (Larry), George Heigle (Monica) and Janet H. Rodrigue; grandchildren Alex, Zachary, Kayla, Danielle, Monica, Megen and Alexis, and great-grandson William.

He is also survived by many family members and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, his sons Nicholas Heigle and Orell Cerrato and sister Jeanne Heigle.

Joe served in the Marines and Navy for 25 years and is a Vietnam Veteran.

A devout Seventh Day Adventist, Joe had a wonderful singing voice and loved to sing gospel music.

A private funeral service will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beavoir Rd., Biloxi, MS. Interment will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery.
