Joseph Julio DiNardo, age 90, of Gulfport, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Gulfport.
Mr. DiNardo was born on October 13, 1930 in Montreal, Canada to the late Michael and Marie DiNardo. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from December 1950 to May 1954. He was wounded in the Korean War and obtained the rank of MSgt at the age of 22. In addition, he was a life member of the VFW.
Joe owned and operated Maple Croft Nursery from 1954 to 2014. He was a proud landscaper , arborist and environmentalist. He planted thousand of trees and shrubs all over New York state and surrounding states. Joe had a special connection and dedication to Saint Andre' Bessette.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Antionette DiNardo. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Margaret M. DiNardo; his sons, Michael DiNardo, Pat DiNardo (wife, Brandi) and Joseph DiNardo (wife, Elaine); his daughters, Maria DiNardo Ramos (husband, Timothy) and Marcie Kearns (husband, Robert); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 12 Noon, Wednesday, March 31st at Saint Mary Catholic Church, 8343 Woolmarket Road, Biloxi, MS, where friends may visit from 11 to 11:45 a.m.
Joe will be laid to rest at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester, NY.
