Joseph Adalbert Daigle, Jr., was called home by God on January 8, 2015, at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Joseph Adalbert Daigle, Sr., and Irene Dubert Daigle. He is survived by his wife, Joan Gallinghouse Daigle, of 50 years, his son, Pride Stephen Daigle (Kellena) and daughter, Jenice Daigle Heck (Scott); three grandchildren, Hadlie Daigle, Andrew Heck and Kaley Heck; brother-in-law, Robert Gallinghouse (Betty). He is survived by a sister, Irene D. Harvey (Thomas) and preceded in death by his sister, Audrey Daigle; brother, Ronald Daigle. Joseph served on the New Orleans Fire Department for 32 years and retired as a captain in 1999. We would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS, for their attentive and compassionate care as well as Gentiva Hospice for their support and guidance. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln-Delisle Road, Pass Christian, MS on Monday, January 12, 2015. A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the celebration of Mass at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be to Lighthouse Louisiana, 123 State Street, New Orleans, LA 70118.
