Joseph Kenneth Clute, age 63, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his father, Francis Kenneth Clute and his mother, Ola Ruth Quarles Clute.
He is survived by his siblings, Jane Berlin of Lizella, Georgia, and Apostle Thomas Ray Clute, and spouse, Dr. Aimee Clute; his nieces, Angelique Lyn Underhill, Joanne Ward and Tabitha Berlin; his nephews, Andre Smithey, Daniel R. Clute and wife, Shelby Clute, and Wesley Clute and wife, Ashlynne Clute; his great-nieces , Kayla Underhill, Kayleigh Cathcart, Addilynne Ward and Nora Rae Clute; and his great-nephews, Christian Morrison, Zackary Morrison, Aiden Berlin, Ashton Smithey, Cayden Charles Clute and Carter Sternberg.
Mr. Clute was a native of Gulfport and graduated from Gulfport High School. He worked at Gulfport Paper Company for many years in management, then Hudson's Salvage, until he became disabled.
He enjoyed wrestling, walking and going to church. He was a member of First United Methodist of Gulfport until joining the River of Life Church, where he remained a member until his passing.
Joe was loved by many for his love, humor and kind ways. Joe will be missed by all of his family and friends from all over the USA.
