Joseph Stafford Carmouche, age 85, of Hancock County, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 in Gulfport.
He was a longtime resident of New Orleans until after his retirement where he resided in Hancock County. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tony Carmouche.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Daisy Dupuy Carmouche; 3 daughters, Susan Archer (Jack), Ellen Johnson (Larry), Sandy Elaine Smith (James); 5 grandsons; and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, at the Annunciation Catholic Church, Kiln, MS, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
