Joseph Buffo

Joseph Patrick Buffo, age 54, of Gulfport and formerly of Rockford, Illinois, passed away on July 15, 2018, after a short illness.
Joey grew up in Rockford, IL, and attended Rockford schools.  He lived most of his adult life in Tucson, Arizona, where he met Louise Groom.  He built their dream home in Alpine, AZ, before retiring in Gulfport, MS.  He was an avid outdoorsman and was an ATV enthusiast.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Bradley M. Buffo and John C. Buffo; and his grandparents.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph E. and Judith L. Buffo of Winnebago, IL; his loving companion, Louise Tullis Groom and her son, Emerson Barrick Groom, with whom Joey had a special relationship; siblings, Beth Zimmerman (Brian), Brenda Buffo, and Rebecca Miller (David); three children and nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and his close-knit neighbors.
