Joseph W. """"Buck"""" Boardmann, age 49 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, September 12, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mr. Boardman was the only son of Rosamond N. Boardman and the late Ret. Col. Henry W. Boardman.
Buck had attended Sewanee Acadamy in Tennessee and Mississippi State University in Starkville.
In addition to his mother, Buck is survived by two sisters, Rosamond Ann Boardman of Gulfport and Suzanne B. Johnston and her husband, Steve Johnston of Long Beach.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the family residence, 1529 Magnolia St. #17 Old Taylor Place in Gulfport.
