Mr. Joseph Pascal Bagala, age 72, resident of Gulfport, was received by the Lord on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, MS.
Joseph was born in New Orleans, LA to Pascal Joseph and Rose Mary Bagala on June 1, 1948. He served his country in the United States Army. He never married or had children but enjoyed dogs, bicycling, and taking the casinos to the cleaners.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; infant sister, Rose; sister. Stella Bagala Croal; and brothers, John Jude Bagala and Frank John Bagala.
He is survived by nephews E.J. Croal, Michael Croal, and Christopher Croal; and nieces, Theresa Croal Frayer, Katherine Croal Alvarez, Angie Bagala Hloucha and Tina Bagala Leon. He was a great uncle to many others.
The family would like to thank Mrs. Pat Bermingham of Mandeville, LA who cared for Uncle Joseph for over 30 years.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm Monday, July 13, 2020, in the Biloxi National Cemetery. Current guidelines limit attendance to 10 people at the committal shelter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and/or to your local animal shelter in Mr. Bagala’s name.
