Joseph Louis Angeline, Sr, age 74 of Long Beach, passed away on May 8, 2014 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jennie Angeline; a grandson, Daniel Severence; and a son, Daniel Angeline.
He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Sandra Marie Shore Angeline of Long Beach; a son, Joseph L. Angeline, Jr of Long Beach; sons, Matthew Severence (Ann) and Richard Severence (Pam) of Wilmington, DE; two grandsons, Austin and Tyler; two sisters, Josephine Bonanno of Mullica Hill, N.J. and Louise O'Brien (Ken) of Gulfport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was born and raised in Gibbstown, New Jersey and moved to Long Beach 16 years ago.
A graduate of Paulsboro High School, Class of 1957, he worked for E I Dupont in Deepwater, N.J., Domino Sugar in Pitman, N.J., B.F. Goodrich in Pedricktown, N.J., and Coast Transit, Biloxi.
The family prefers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until the Mass.
