Jonathon Poe

Jonathon Scott Poe, age 47 and a resident of Long Beach, passed away May 25, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Poe; grandfather, William George Howell; and grandmother, Nellie Ruth Beard; and his granddaughter, Dannika Marie Spencer.
Survivors include his fiancé' Amanda Sherman; his mother, Stephany Howell; his three children, Jordan Poe, Lucas Sherman and Savannah Poe; and his siblings, Denise Musko (Dave), Patrick Rule (Twila), Jason Poe (Misty) and Billy Rule (Charmayne).
Scott was born in Royston, GA on August 13, 1969. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Memphis State University. Scott worked with Vallen Distributions, was a Baptist, and he enjoyed fishing, golfing and reading.
Scott was one of the smartest people and he used his intelligence to encourage those around him. Scott was a man of integrity. He was one of the most loving, understanding and forgiving people.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Memphis Pets Alive.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 from 4:00 until 5:00 p.m. with the Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS 39560.
