Jonathan """"Clay"""" Caillavet, age 59 and a resident of Biloxi died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in Biloxi
Mr. Caillavet, known as """"Back Bay Clay"""", loved the Gulf Coast waters, where he enjoyed fishing, floundering and softshelling. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmen Trochesett Demourelle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Debbie Caillavet of Biloxi; his father, Wilfred """"Kutta"""" Caillavet, also of Biloxi; his children, Kelly Pelous of Ocean Springs, and Ashley Pickich and her husband Brad of D'Iberville; siblings, Marc Caillavet, Garth Caillavet, Cooper Caillavet, Tara Morgan, Judene Cook and Linda Burras; and grandchildren: Cody Pelous, Alexa Pelous, and Evan Pickich.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, D'Iberville, on Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Noon. A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Noon at the church. Burial at Biloxi National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
The family prefers donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
