Johnny White

Johnny White. age 55, passed away May 4, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of RIEMANNJohnny White, age 55, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2012 after a sudden illness. Johnny lived most of his life in Gulfport. His father was a Naval Warrant Officer, so he traveled the world as a child. Johnny was known around Gulfport for football and boxing. He had a short run with the Houston Oilers, before he hurt his knee. He went on to have a professional boxing career. He also went to California for a short period for a few movie roles.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Ocie Oliver White and Rosa White, his infant daughter: Molly White, and his brother George White.
Johnny is survived by his sons, Jean V. White and daughter in law, Kim, of
Rockford IL. Jeffrey D. White of Slidell La, Jonathan O. White, of Pine Bluff Ar. Daughter; Emilea Rose White, of Slidell La. His brothers; Thomas White and his wife Paula, Raymond White and his wife Andra, all of Gulfport, his sister Jane Quinquinio and her husband Alfred of Jacksonville Fl. His grandchildren; Ashley, Travis and Amber. Great-grandson Carson. Step grandchildren, Cody, Cassie and Brady. Many beloved nieces and nephews.
The Family will be having a small private ceremony at Moses pier to put Johnny to sea with his family.
