Johnny Hoffman, age 43 and a resident of The Colony, TX, died on Wednesday, March 17, 2010, in Mobile, AL.
Johnny attended Gulfport High School Class of 1984, was a 1992 graduate of the University of South Alabama, and was a member of the Catholic faith. He was an environmental consultant in Dallas, TX. His hobby was researching his family's ancestry, and he was an avid outdoorsman.
Johnny is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Helen Ross, and his paternal grandparents, John L. and Catherine Hoffman.
He is survived by his mother, Betsy Hoffman of Gulfport; his wife, Liudmyla Hoffman of The Colony, TX; his sons, John Ross Hoffman, II of Flower Mound, TX, and Nicholas Callen Hoffman of The Colony, TX; his siblings, Mike (Brooke) Hoffman of Jackson, and Kathy Hoffman (Glenn) Mathers of Mobile; his nieces, Macy Mathers and Anan Mathers both of Mobile, and Rainey Hoffman of Jackson; his special friends, Anne Legett and Michael Scott, and many others, to numerous to name.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 12'Noon at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Nicholas Callen Hoffman, Education Fund, at any branch of Hancock Bank.
