Johnnie Lee Scott, age 73, of Gulfport, passed away, Saturday, October 26, 2019.
Johnnie was born on September 17, 1946 in Ferriday, Louisiana. Johnnie was married to Lou Ella Scott for forty-six years one child was born. In his retirement years, he loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, drinking a nice cup of coffee and watching the New Orleans Saints. He was also a big fan of wrestling and anything WWE Smack down.

God looked around his Garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your loving face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
His Garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain.
And knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw your path was difficult, he closed you tired eyes,
He whispered to you "Peace be Thine" and gave you wings to fly.
When we saw you sleeping so calm and free of pain,
We would not wish you back to earth to suffer once again.
You've left us precious memories, your love will be our guide,
You live on through your children, you're always by our side.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you on the day God called you home.
Johnnie was preceded to heaven by his wife, Lou Ella Scott; his father, Mack Scott Jr.; his son, Johnny Nichols; and his parenteral Grandparents, Mack Scott Sr and Alice Scott.
Johnnie's cherished memories will be carried through his mother, Ethel. H. Scott; his children Delia (Michael) Frost of Gulfport, Daniel Magee, Jr., III of Gulfport, Tammie Kelly of Gulfport, Dr. Bennie Magee (Marie) of Sudley Springs, VA, Samuel (Nordecia)Taylor of Ferriday, LA; his brothers, John Hawkins and Alexis Hawkins of Ferriday, LA; his sister, Roselynn Hawkins of Vidalia, La; and a host grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 2:00pm, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
