John Henry Weck, age 88 and a resident of Lacoochee, Florida, died May 31, 2008, in Dade City, Florida
He was a native of Urbana, Indiana, a former resident of Gulfport, MS, and was retired from the U. S. Air Force. He was a member of Brooksville VFW Post 8713, a member of the Dade City Moose Lodge #397, and lifetime member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elouise Weck; a stepson, Billy Copeland; his parents, John H. and Mable E. Weck; a brother, and five sisters.
Survivors include daughter-in-law, Dolly Copeland and family of Colorado Springs, CO; brothers, Robert Weck, of Lansing, MI; Charles Weck, of Coleman, MI; Albert Weck, of Lansing, MI; and Richard Weck, of Mecosta, MI; sisters, Mary Reed, of Bay City, MI; and Gladys Taylor, of Lacoochee, FL; nieces and nephews. Local arrangements by the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS.
