John Leo Pullen, Jr., 79, of Saucier, died Friday, August 10, 2007 in Saucier.
Mr. Pullen was a native of Greenwood, MS, and a graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Mathematics. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later retired after 38 years of service from South Central Bell. He was a member of Saucier United Methodist Church and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, working in the yard and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Leo Pullen, Sr. and Mary Ella Magee Pullen.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Margie Pullen, Saucier, 3 sons, John L. (Carrie) Pullen, III, Saucier, Ronald B. (Mary) Pullen, Biloxi, and Mitchell (Janet) Pullen, Ft. Worth, Texas, 1 sister, Juanita Fant, Colliersville, TN, 8 grandchildren, Jamie Drennan, Jeremy Pullen, Courtnay Pullen, Matthew Pullen, Rebecca Pullen, Corey Pullen, Kirby Pullen, and Jamie Kirby, 3 great-grandchildren, Rileigh Pullen, Faith Anne Pullen, and Peyton Kirby.
Visitation will be Monday, August 13, 2007 from 6-8 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY'S Gulf Coast Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 1 p in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
