John Edward Potts Sr, age 68, passed away March 14, 2024. He was born in Connersville, IN to Marion Donald and Elva Jane (Moreland) Potts Fields . John was preceded in death by his parents, one son John Anthony Potts, and one daughter Mary Susan Robinson, lifelong companion Genny K. Wedgeworth.
He attended church at Gulf Coast Worship Center in Gulfport, MS. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing horseshoes.
He leaves his cherished memories to his son John Edward Potts II; daughter Crystal Ann Potts; brothers Steve Potts and Donald Potts; grandchildren Serinity Potts, Savannah Crowell, Baylee Potts, Lexi Potts, Isabella McCraney, John Brentley Potts, and Bryson Lancey; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2:30 pm Wednesday March 20,2024 at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veteran Avenue, Biloxi, MS 39531.
