John "Gerry" Gerald Maxwell, age 79, of Biloxi, passed away on June 27, 2021.
Gerry was a native of Lawton, Oklahoma. He graduated from Gulfport High School and MGCCC. Gerry was a MSgt in the US Army where he retired after 26 years. He loved to fish and target shoot. He was also a 3rd degree Mason and a Boy Scout Leader.
Gerry was preceded in death by his parents John and Edith Maxwell.
Mr. Maxwell is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susan Y. Maxwell.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Beauvoir Methodist Church, 2113 Pass Road, Biloxi, MS, with the visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery, Gulfport.
