John """"Johnny"""" Ladner, Sr, age 60, resident of Pass Christian, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 in Gulfport.
Mr. Ladner was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian and enjoyed gardening. He worked for the City of Gulfport for 36 years in the Department of Leisure Services.
Mr. Ladner was preceeded in death by his mother, Hilda Ladner, and a nephew, Gregory Ladner.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda C. Ladner; father, Welton Ladner, Sr. (Willie); two children, John Ladner, Jr. and Linda """"Marie"""" Ladner all of Pass Christian; brothers, Welton Ladner, Jr(Anita), Avel Ladner(Dorothy) and Louis Ladner; nephews, Todd Ladner(Kim) and family, Chuck Ladner and family and Thomas Ladner and family.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Coast Veterinary Hospital, Spay/Neuter Clinic, 3401 Hewes Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507.
Visitation will be Friday, February 6, 2009 from 6:00-9:00p.m at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian. Service will be Saturday, February 7th at 3:00p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Alphonse Malley Cemetery.
