John W. """"Johnny"""" Johnson, age 48, of Long Beach, passed away on April 9, 2009 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Johnson, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Hover and Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Johnson, Sr.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Johnson; his father, Homer J. Johnson; his brother, Tommy Johnson and Lynda Johnson; and his nieces, Jillian and Jordan Johnson, all of Long Beach.
Johnny was a member of First United Methodist Church, Long Beach. Johnny was a free-spirited, fun loving guy, who loved the outdoors and being with friends. He was loved by many.
The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 13, 2009 at Noon at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
