Jackie Davis, Jr., age 65, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012.
Jackie was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was an avid Nascar and Saints fan. He worked at the A&P Food Store and the MS State Dept. of Corrections.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Davis, Sr. and Deloris Fore Davis; grandson, Joshua Davis; great-granddaughter, Haley Baker; and his father & mother-in-laws, Pearlie and Eva Dunn. Survivors include his wife, Cora; son, Jason (Marivel) Davis; daughter, Jennifer (Joe) Baker; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sister, Sandra (Richard) Allen; brother, Jeff (Cindy) Davis; special niece, Sandra; and special nephew, Simmie.
The Graveside Service will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the National Cemetery in Biloxi with military honors. Arrangements by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Gulfport and tributes may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com.
