John Joseph Connors, 58 of Saucier passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 with his loving family at his side.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Connors; and his brother, Chad Connors.
He is survived by his mother, Roberta Pitari Connors; and sister, Carol Connors and her children, Barbara Connors, Thomas (Laura) Connors and their children. John is further survived by a family he called his own, Serena Perkins, and her children, Emily, Isabella, and Reece Perkins and several grandchildren he loved so much.
Mr. Connors was born on November 6, 1959 in Massachusetts, but most recently has resided for many years in Saucier. John worked at an area hospital as a psychiatric technician for many years and touched many lives there and in the community. John was never at a loss for words and had many life stories he loved to share with everyone. He was charismatic and polite, and he could keep your ear for a while. John was an avid fan of Harley Davidson motorcycles, and he loved riding and working on them. He also enjoyed horseback riding with Isabella. He most looked forward to Sunday dinners, the days that were filled with all the kids and grandchildren, good food and the thankfulness for each other. John will be sadly missed by us, his family and friends and all the lives he touched.
They say there is a reason, they say that time will heal, but neither time nor reason will change the way we feel. For no one knows the heartache that lies behind our smiles. No one knows how many times we have broken down and cried. We want to tell you something so there won't be any doubt, you are so wonderful to think of but so hard to be without.
Memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport.
