John Daniel """"Johnny"""" Bumgarner, II, 40 of D'Iberville died Friday, September 15, 2006 in Harrison County.
Mr. Bumgarner was a native of Biloxi, attended Long Beach Schools and graduated in 1986 from Hibrighton High School, Lenoir, North Carolina. He served in the U.S Navy during the Persian Gulf War and had was employed as a stone mason in the residential construction business. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his special nieces.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Alda Nelles, and paternal grandparents, Percy and Lena Bumgarner.
Survivors include his parents, Phillip and Peggy Neal, D'Iberville and John D. Bumgarner, Patterson, NC; his sister, Terrie Anne Fisher and her husband Rick of Pass Christian, 3 special nieces who were the loves of his life, Bailey, Abbey, and Emma Fisher, and various aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held Staurday, September 23, 2006 at Buffalo Cove Baptist Church, Buffalo Cove, NC.
