Dr. John S. Basone, age 80, of Gulfport, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, in Gulfport.
Dr. Basone was a graduate of Louisiana State University and Tulane Medical School. He was a Pathologist at Memorial Hospital for 20 years.
Dr. Basone is survived by his children, D. Dean Basone and his wife, Debra, H. Kirk Basone and his wife Lisa; and three grandchildren, K. Morgan Basone, S. Jordan Basone, and Alexandra K. Basone.
Private services were held. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport.
