Joey Fontenot

Mr. Joseph Anthony Fontenot, age 28, and a resident of Pass Christian, lost his battle with drug addiction on March 31, 2006, in Batesville, MS.
Mr. Fontenot was a longtime resident of Kenner, LA before moving to Pass Christian in 1997. He was a 1995 graduate of the Crescent City Baptist Academy, and worked at KG's in Bay St. Louis and at Rickey's Bar and Grill in Waveland as a cook.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Roth and Clarence Rayes.
He is dearly loved by his parents, Kenny and Pam Fontenot of Pass Christian; sister, Stephanie Fontenot of Gulfport; grandmothers, Luana Roth of Pass Christian and Althea Faurie Fontenot Rayes of Chalmette, LA; and many aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, from 10a.m. until service time at 12 o'clock Noon at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes, Kiln DeLisle Road Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests prayers for Joey and others struggling with addictions, and memorials be made to the Long Beach Drug Task Force, 19148 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS 39560.
