Jo E. Ladner

Jo Emilene Ladner, age 85, of Gulfport, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Jo was a native of Lumberton, MS.  She graduated from Lumberton High School and then went to PRC for cosmetology.  She loved to be out in the yard with her plants and flowers.  She was a member of the Bayou View Baptist Church.

Jo is survived by her husband of 61 years, TSGT Marion A. Ladner; her daughter, Lisa H. Smith (Dennis); her siblings, Laverne Montana, Nathaniel “Sonny” Baugham, and Mack Baugham (Diane); and her grandchildren, Aaron A. Smith, and Emily L. Smith.

Jo was a loving wife, mother and MiMi! She was very industrious in all her jobs that she had ever had. She made sure her family was well taken care of.  Jo was such a caring person, and she would give you the shirt off her back if she could.  She was an amazing woman that will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 15, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS.  The graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave. Biloxi, MS.
