Joan M. Sullivan, age 76 of Pass Christian, died on Monday, March 14, 2011, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Sullivan had been a lifelong resident of the MS Gulf Coast and a member of the Baptist faith. She retired from Sears after 32 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Etta Henley; her husband, Milburn Sullivan and a daughter, Joan L. Sullivan; her brothers, Douglas Henley, John R. Henley, and Robert Henley and her sister, Louise Mattis.
She is survived by her daughters, Etta Marie Mizell of Kiln and Deborah Kay Sullivan of Pass Christian; her sister, Mary (Stanford) Ladner of Gulfport; her brother, David Henley of Pass Christian; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Selena, Joshua, and Hanna and 6 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011, at 11:00am at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road in Pass Christian, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
