Joan Gayle Scarbrough

Joan Gayle (Cox) Scarbrough, died on Thursday, November 25, 2010, in Gulfport.
She was born in New Orleans, LA and had been a resident of Gulfport for 45 years. She was a Registered Nurse in Obstetrics.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Wolsch & Fay Evans Cox and her husband of 36 years, Dr. Bill R. Scarbrough.
Mrs. Scarbrough is survived by her two sons, John Elmer Scarbrough of Galveston, TX and Dean Evan Scarbrough of Gulfport; her daughter, Kay Staes of Dallas, TX; two grandsons, Kyle and Gage Mayborn; a granddaughter, Alexandra Scarbrough, and a sister, Judy Milligan of Florida.
Mrs. Scarbrough's wishes were for no service to be held.
The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements.
