Joan Landrum Robinson, age 88, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, in Pass Christian.
Mrs. Robinson was a native and lifelong resident of Lyman, Mississippi and graduated from Lyman High School. She was a lifelong member of Beulah / Gateway United Methodist Church and a member of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Robinson had so many passions in life: volunteering at ML Tootle Mission, going to all activities and ballgames of her grandkids, crocheting, sewing, bingo, cooking for her large family and just being a Mimi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Robinson; her parents, Mozart Landrum and Delia Landrum; and her sons, Rodney D. Robinson and Christopher S. Robinson.
She is survived by her loving family: daughters, Jackie (Ronnie) Hoda, Candy (Kurt) Ladner and Sally Gill; her siblings, Shirley Dedeaux and Dillard Landrum; her grandchildren, Kyle (Erica) Ladner, Karee Enroth, Jaron Hoda, Jesse Robinson, Mozart Gill, Alex Robinson, Zachary Gill and Rachel Robinson; her great-grandchildren, Ella Enroth, Tucker Enroth, Holly Candebat, Gracey Candebat and Colby Candebat; and her great-great-grandchildren, Amelia Stephens, Harper Stephens and Emerson Candebat.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Sunday, September 12th at Gateway United Methodist Church, 16020 S. Swan Road, Gulfport. Visitation will be held from 1 until 3 p.m. with the funeral service at 3 p.m. Burial will follow at Coalville Cemetery.
The family is forever grateful to her caregivers over the years: Patti Bosarge, April Holliman, Lysa Ledet, Dynita White, Racheal Stewart, Shakena Johnson and Marian Kelly. Much love and appreciation to Bobbie Ferguson, Gloria Duke and Barbara Bullard. The love and care you showed to our mother will forever live in us. Please know we love all of you. A special thanks to Kare-In-Home Hospice for the care they gave our Mother.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions to be made to Gateway United Methodist Church.
