Joan Patricia Herrin Gnau, age 70, and a resident of Saucier, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at home.
Mrs. Gnau was of the Methodist faith, and was the former director of the Saucier Senior Citizen's Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald R. Herrin and Myrtle Wedgeworth Herrin.
Mrs. Gnau is survived by her husband of 48 years Gerald Gnau; her sons, Rick (Melissa) Gnau of Saucier, and Thom Gnau of Pass Christian; her brother, Richard (Barbara) Herrin; grandchildren, Jessica (Jeffrey) Mouring and Rebecca Gnau; and great-grandchildren, Christopher Mouring and Carsyn Mouring all of Saucier.
The visitation will be held Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS.
The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:00 pm following the visitation.
A graveside will be held at 10:00 am Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
