Joan W. Crawford, age 84, of Biloxi, passed away on October 26, 2011, in Gulfport.
She enjoyed reading, gardening, and eating out at restaurants and casinos. Mrs. Crawford worked as a legal secretary and court reporter for Judge Ruble Griffin. She attended Butler University and she obtained her pilot's license.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George S. Crawford, mother, Lillian McConachie and her husband, David, and her father, John Walters.
Mrs. Crawford is survived by her daughter, Nancy J. Crawford Phillips.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1, 2011, from 12:30 pm - 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd., Biloxi. The funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will be in Southern Memorial Park.
