Joan Belisle

Joan """"Joanne"""" M. Belisle, age 76 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Friday, May 1, 2009, in Gulfport. Mrs. Belisle was a native of Saco, ME, and had been a resident of Gulfport since 1975. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi. She is preceded in death by her parents, Armand & Marie Daigle Chartier; her husband, Jean Paul Belisle and her daughter, Denise Roznowski. Mrs. Belisle is survived by her son, Art (Cathy) Belisle of Gulfport; her son-in-law, Steve Roznowski of Yorktown, VA; her sister, Reinette Whelpley of Virginia; her brother, Albert Chartier of Saco, ME; her grandchildren, Kelli, Brian, Kayla, Matt, and John; and her great grandchild, Hendricks. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2009, at 1:30pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Canon Hospice, 1520 Broad Avenue, Suite 500, Gulfport, MS 39501.
