Jimmy M. Sanders, age 76 and a resident of Gulfport, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mr. Sanders was a native of Esto, Florida, and was a member of the Homebuilder's Association in Millbrook, AL. He was a member of Robinson Road Baptist Church and the Gulf Coast Parkinson's Support Group.
Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Anna Sanders; grandsons, Leif Ethridge and John Garrett Sheridan; sister, Blondell Duck; and brother, Billy Sanders. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Sanders, of Gulfport; children: Darryl Wayne Sanders and wife, Patricia, of Tyler, Texas; Carol Jane Shipman and husband, Charles, of Prattville, AL; and Jimmy Adam Sanders and wife, Kimberly, of Mobile, AL; Doyle Ellis and wife, Julie; and Paula White and husband, Thomas, all of Gulfport; sister, Jessie Nell Miller, of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Griffin Sheridan, Jason White and wife, Brandy, Heather White, Ashley White, Katiemae Ellis, Daniel Sanders, Timothy Vance, April S. Patricios, Rachael Sanders, and Kellie Sanders; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, on Saturday, April 12, 2008, from 12:00 noon until the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
