Jimmy N. Russell

Jimmy N. Russell, age 56 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Tuesday, September 4, 2012, in Gulfport.
He was a resident of Gulfport for the past 15 years and was a member of the Catholic faith. Jimmy enjoyed working on cars and was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin & Shirley Jackson Russell; his daughters, Janelle Russell and Sarah Russell; his sister, Lendy Cook and his great nieces, Kristi & Kenzley Gillis.
He is survived by his daughters, Jamie Winsor of Kearny, AZ and Debra Beltran of Globe, AZ; his sister, Barbara (J.R.) Gillis of Gulfport and his brothers, John Russell of Kearny, AZ, Steve Russell of Seattle, WA and Donnie (Teena) Russell of Boise, ID and his nephew, Kenny (Amy) Gillis of Long Beach.
A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, at 12'Noon at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, 366 Cowan Road, Gulfport, MS 39507. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Pam and the staff at Amedisys Home Care of Gulfport and the doctors and staff at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements.
