Jimmy Ervin Roberds, age 68 of Gulfport, died on Sunday, September 2, 2007 in Gulfport.
How do you honor such a great man? A man who loved and was loved by all. A man who laughed and made others too. A man who always ran when others were in need, never complained but always encouraged. Known by many as """"Po-boy"""" and """"Tomahawk"""", due to his God-given strength and athletic ability. How do you honor a manaÌâ¦by remembering his great legacy.
Jimmy retired from the Gulfport Fire Department in 1982 after 21 years of service, during this time he competed internationally in the sport he loved the most, softball. He then retired from the MS Regional Housing Authority in 2005. He has spent the last two years doing all that he loved; hunting, camping, and helping family and friends!
