Jimmy Reynolds, Sr., age 79 a resident of Latimer, MS passed away at his home on Monday, March 21, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Naddie and Velma Reynolds; his son, William Tally Reynolds; his brother, Joe Reynolds; and three sisters, Judith, Lucille and Celeste.

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Patricia A. Reynolds; his children, Paula Powell (Brien), Jimmy Reynolds, Jr. (Karen), and Jo Lynn Mechanic (Joel); his brother, William Reynolds; his grandchildren, Dusty Blackbird (Bradley), Justin Reynolds (Jessica), Jacob Reynolds, Jacqueline Reynolds, Paulina Reynolds, Haley Mechanic and Jeremy Powell; great grandchildren, Michael Hanson, Kailyn Luke, Madison Reynolds, Presley powell, Sadie Reynolds, and Justin Reynolds, Jr.; and nephews and nieces, Michael Henry, Curtis Hinton, Lynn Hinton, And Sarah Holliman; a host of relatives and dear friends.

He is a native of Laurel, MS and resident of the Latimer Community.  He served as a medic in the Army National Guard and made his living as a structural welder.

Jimmy was a wonderful father, grandfather and a very loving husband.  He was a coach at the Biloxi Boxing Club on Point Cadet for many years, and an original member of the Masonite Club, and a member of the McLeod Masonic Lodge.

He will be dearly missed by everyone who has ever been around him.  The love he had for his family will continue to grow through all generations of his loved ones.  Although he will be deeply missed, we know he is in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.

A Celebration of Life service will be held for family and friends on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.with  family and friends gathering from noon until the celebration begins at Vertical Life Church, 3109 Bachman Road, DIberville MS  39540.  A luncheon will immediately follow.

The Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. in West Jackson County, is proudly serving the Reynolds family.
