Jimmy Mcnutt

Jimmy Dee McNutt, age 73 and a resident of Gulfport, died on Saturday, January 10, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mr. McNutt was born in Nauvoo, AL on June 12, 1935. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner, and a member of the Methodist faith. He worked as a tugboat captain in many parts of the world.
Mr. McNutt is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene M. & Julia W. McNutt; his daughter, Debbie Schmermund and his siblings, Opie Lee McNutt, Vaudean M. Lindley, and Lawley M. Kimball.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rochelle McNutt; his sisters, Virginia M. Taylor and Ora M. Lewis; his grandsons, Larry Schmermund and Joey Schmermund and three great grandchildren, all of Gulfport, and many other loving family members and friends, who loved him dearly.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
