Jimmy DiLorenzo

James E. "Jimmy" Di Lorenzo, age 62, of Long Beach, passed away on January 3, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adam, Sr. and Gladys DiLorenzo; and his Godchild, Caden DiLorenzo.
Survivors include his wife, Vicki DiLorenzo; his children, J.P.  McVaugh, Jr. and Anna (Brian) Ellerman; his brothers, Tony (Anne) DiLorenzo, John DiLorenzo, Ben (Tammy) DiLorenzo, David (Brook) DiLorenzo, and Tommy (Sharon) DiLorenzo; a granddaughter, Harper Ellerman; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Long Beach and graduated from Long Beach High School.  Jimmy was a star athlete and played football at LBHS, Mississippi State, and Gulf Coast Buccaneers semi pro team.  Jimmy was an active parishioner of St. Thomas Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #4898.  He enjoyed fishing, Saints football, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 5 - 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Monday, January 7, 2019, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd, Long Beach where friends may visit from 10 - 11 am.  Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Thomas Catholic Church.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice, especially Kathrine and Felicia, and all of their family and friends that have supported them during Jimmy's illness.
