Mrs. Jimmaleen Chandler, 80, of Gulfport, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010.
Mrs. Chandler was born October 20, 1929 in Andalusia, Alabama. Mr. and Mrs. Chandler owned Kahler's Food Store in downtown Gulfport for many years. She was a member of Woolmarket Baptist Church.
Mrs. Chandler is survived by her beloved husband, Artis P. """"Boots"""" Chandler; daughter, Vanda McCormick; son-in-law, Frank McCormick; sister, Winnell Herring; grandson, Frank """"Mac"""" McCormick; granddaughter, Mendi McCormick; great grandson, Palmer B. McCormick; four loving sister-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held for family and friends from 6 - 8 pm, Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49, Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:30 am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow the service at Biloxi National Cemetery, Biloxi.
