Jewell Bell Casey Cleveland went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2011, at Hartford Place in Hattiesburg. She was born on January 3, 1922, in Jones County but was a resident of Saucier most of her adult life.
Jewell was an LPN who worked at Gulfport Memorial Hospital and for the VA medical system, retiring from the Gulfport VA Center in 1979. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Lyman for over 49 years where she taught Sunday School, SunBeams, GAs, and Vacation Bible School and was an active member of WMU. She was a member of Harrison County Home Demonstration Club for over 50 years. The last few years of her life she lived with her daughter and attended her adopted church, Pineview Baptist, in Hattiesburg.
Jewell loved her family very much. She is survived by Wanda and Fred Dubuisson, her daughter and son-in-law; Glenn and Daileen Cleveland, her son and daughter-in-law; four grandchildren and their spouses, Lorraine Dubuisson and Josh Hill, Russell and Jessica Dubuisson, Kristen and Daniel Drake, Dave Cleveland; and one great-grandchild, Emma Hill. In addition, she leaves one sister, Ida Casey Haddad, and many nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Milton, brother, Robert Casey, and sister, Mary Grayson, predeceased her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pineview Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, with a visitation from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
