Mrs. Jessie H. Nester, age 75 of Long Beach, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2007 in Long Beach.
Mrs. Nester had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for the past 42 years. She was an avid painter and a former member of the MS Gulf Coast Art Association.
Mrs. Nester is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Myrtle Carrick Orender; her husband, James Walter Nester and her brother, Arlis Orender.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Tanner of Eustace, TX, Mary Nester and Jamie Nester Notter both of Long Beach; her two sisters, three grandchildren, Kenneth Murley and Mary Elizabeth Barajas both of Forth Worth, TX and Chris Nester of Long Beach; and two great grandchildren, Emily Marlow and Nathan Murley.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 from 5-8pm at the Riemann family's GULF COAST FUNERAL HOME, Three Rivers Road Chapel in Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at the National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507. An online guestbook may be viewed and signed at
