Jesse A. Lee, 78, of Woolmarket, died Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Woolmarket.
Mr. Lee was a lifelong resident of Woolmarket and he was stationed in France while serving in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Sterling Drug Co. and he was a member of Coalville United Methodist Church and attended White Plains United Methodist Church.. He was a trustee for Palmer Creek Campground and was a member of Handsboro Masonic Lodge #154, the Gulfport Scottish Rite Bodies, and Joppa Temple Shrine. Mr. Lee enjoyed farming and giving his vegetables to others. He especially enjoyed visiting and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Andres Lee, Jr.; his parents, John Lee and Eula Anthony Lee; a brother, James Lee, and a sister, Annie Ryder.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Lee, Woolmarket; 2 sons, Mike (Donna) Lee, Brooklyn, MS, and Stewart (Shirley) Lee, Woolmarket; 8 brothers and sisters, Doris Ross, Ruth Vartel, Robert Lee, Ollie Fayard, Iris Dean Ryland, Hollie Lee, Webb Lee, and Lowell Lee; 6 grandchildren, Stephen, John, Joel, Paul, Emily, and Anthony.
Visitation will be Monday, October 29, 2007 from 6-9 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be 11 am Tuesday at Coalville United Methodist Church.
Interment, with military and masonic rites, will be in Coalville Cemetery.
