Jesse Ty Gill, age 53, a life long resident of Saucier, passed away November 26, 2007.
Mr Gill was a member of Faithview Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he always had a funny story to tell. His nephews and nieces would always ask """"Uncle Jesse"""" to tell that story aboutaÌâ¦.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pascal R. and Sarah Ann Gill; a sister, Patsy; and an infant brother.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jonie; his daughters, Jessica and Josie (John Robert). He was a devoted Papa to his grandson, John Ty, who he idolized, and another unborn grandson.
Jesse leaves to cherish his memory, eight siblings: the """"eldest"""" and honorary brother, Albert (Lois Ann) Necaise, Mona (John) Blackburn, Pebbel (Russell) Clark, Tiny Hale, April (Tony) Bankston, Pascal (Sally) Gill, Roy (Dana) Gill, Morgan (Michelle) Gill; 27 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews; and many, many close friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2007, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 North, Gulfport. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 29, 2007, at 2 P.M. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at the Gill Family Cemetery on """"Gill Hill"""".
